El Museo del Barrio is seeking a Coordinator of Public Programs to assist with the implementation of public programs for adult, family, and intergenerational audiences. This position, working closely with the Manager of Public Programs, conceptualizes, research, implements, and executes the Museum’s in-person, virtual and hybrid public programs. The coordinator will support the development of innovative public programs and community engagement strategies that reflect and build upon El Museo del Barrio’s mission, exhibitions, and permanent collection, including artist talks, panels and symposia, film programs, music and dance performances, health and wellness programs, art-making workshops, and large-scale community events and cultural celebrations.
