The Queens Museum seeks a flexible and adaptable Facilities Assistant with a broad range
of technical skills
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Assistant is a key member of the
Facilities team responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Museum.
Responsibilities include upkeep and maintenance of public-facing areas of the building
and back-of-house offices and facilities, repairs, drywall construction, handling.
Successful candidates will have strong technical, communications, and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to complete a broad variety of tasks in a timely and effective manner, and
work well in individual and team settings. Bilingual candidates and residents of Queens are
