The Museum Experience Ambassador (MEA) role is an entry-level position that combines working as a key member of the Front of House Team with a professional development program aimed at opening pathways to careers in the cultural sector. Ambassadors are the primary representatives of the QM and are the visitors’ first point of contact. They create a positive and welcoming environment in all public-facing areas, and are responsible for facilitating an enjoyable experience at the QM. Ambassadors engage with visitors in the galleries, through interpersonal interactions and guided tours to build community relationships with the QM.
