Reporting to the General Counsel and COO, the Senior Director of Finance is the principal financial steward of the long-term fiscal health and viability of the Museum. As the principal financial officer of the Museum, the Senior Director of Finance has primary responsibility to provide strategic financial guidance and planning, treasury and investment management, and financial reporting and analytics to the Museum’s leadership and staff, to oversee the development of the annual operating budget and monitor actual results against the budget, and to manage the Museum’s investment, banking and institutional financing relationships. The Senior Director of Finance also supervises and supports the work of the museum’s controller in overseeing daily, monthly, and annual accounting processes.
