The Science Coach Coordinator provides programmatic leadership and support in the development and expansion of NYSCI’s science coach model. NYSCI uses science coaching to transform and improve STEM teaching and learning within schools or after school programs through intensive professional learning experiences and STEM engagement experiences for students and parents that strengthens connections between formal and informal learning. The Science Coach Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners and supporting NYSCI’s Pre-K STEM Enrichment program in partnership with NYCDOE as well as other educational initiatives within the portfolio of projects assigned to the Science Coaching division. These may include developing and delivering rigorous educational experiences and STEM resources for K-12th grade students, teachers and families.
