Manager of Donor Information

The Manager of Donor Information oversees the Development Department’s use of the Tessitura database, focusing on gift processing, financial oversight, and data management for all areas within the department to help meet and exceed the annual fundraising goal. This role primarily works with and reports to the Director of Development and the Director of Individual Giving but also interacts directly with the other key members of the department and with the VP of Development. They are responsible for processing donations, mining the database, and refining the Development Department’s list segmentation strategies to help increase membership and other philanthropic giving at City Center.

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Job Overview:. New York City Center is seeking a Vice President & Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance department, and to be an integral member of the institution’s senior management team. Reporting to the President & CEO the Vice President is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization including: spearheading the annual budgeting process; supervising all accounting and annual audit related activities; ensuring reliable and consistent reporting and regular updating of forecasts; supervision of invested endowment assets and reporting on performance; effective cash management; risk management; internal audit and controls; strategic planning and financial modeling, managing banking relationships and negotiating various agreements, and supervising basic human resource functions. This position communicates regularly with the Board of Directors and serves as staff liaison to the Finance and Audit Committees.

Manager of Donor Information and Analysis

The Manager of Donor Information and Analysis is a key member of the Development Department, overseeing the department’s use of the Tessitura database and providing data management, and analysis for all areas within the department to help meet and exceed the annual fundraising goal. This role primarily works with and reports to the Director of Development and the Director of Individual Giving but also interacts directly with the other key members of the department and with the VP of Development. They are responsible for mining the database (), using all available tools to identify the top acquisition and upgrade prospects, and refining the Development Department’s list segmentation strategies to help increase membership and other philanthropic giving at City Center. This person also reports on how the Department is performing overall and is responsible for drawing insights and making revenue generating recommendations based on internal and external research and data.

Facilities Assistant

New York City Center is looking for a Facilities Assistant that will assist in daily administrative functions of the facility department, including purchasing supplies, record-keeping, lease tracking, and other duties as required. Membership Manager

The Membership Manager is a key member of City Center’s Individual Giving team and is responsible for leading all facets of the Friends of City Center program. This role serves as the project manager for our year-end appeal and other small gift campaigns and is the primary point of contact between our Individual Giving and Marketing teams. The position also provides direction to the Individual Giving Assistant and apprentices, as necessary. The Manager is expected to demonstrate a passion for fundraising while upholding City Center’s mission and our commitment to be an anti-racist organization.

Social Media/Content Associate

New York City Center is seeking a passionate arts marketer to be the Social Media/Content Associate. This person knows how to create social content that stops the scroll, pushes people to engage—all the while keeping an analytical eye on multiple campaigns across multiple platforms.
This person has an instinct for what’s on (and off) brand, has an eye for what makes an engaging video and a powerful visual, crafts copy that sings, and understands how data can inform a smart editorial calendar, as well as steer the media strategy for both organic and paid campaigns. This individual is an extraordinary task master who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is not flustered by tight deadlines.
The role is intended for someone who cares deeply about the dance and musical theater work we put on our stage and growing the community that follows those artists and creators. Ideally you know how, or are willing to learn, to capture and edit video, as there are exciting opportunities to create original content from the myriad of directors, actors, musicians, choreographers, dancers, and teaching artists that create work for our stages and educational programs.

Director of Individual Giving

The Director of Individual Giving is a senior member of City Center’s Development team and is responsible for all facets of the Individual Giving program, inclusive of single donations, such as web and year-end appeal gifts; annual memberships ranging from $100 - $50,000; major gifts; and planned giving. The Director is expected to demonstrate a passion for fundraising while upholding City Center’s mission and our commitment to be an anti-racist organization.

Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the end-to-end media strategy, including the creation and implementation of New York City Center's presence online through emails, website, and paid digital channels. This person plays a key role in the execution of paid video, display, social media, and email marketing campaigns in coordination with our digital agency. These campaigns are primarily designed to convert viewers to ticket buyers for the institution’s dance and musical theater programming. This individual is able to report on performance of various channels and contribute to strategy discussions to improve efficacy of the media spend. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is tech savvy and up on the latest digital trends—all while upholding City Center’s mission and our commitment to be an anti-racist organization.

Director of Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology is charged with ensuring the highest quality and effectiveness of operation is attained for all systems and that the various systems are appropriately integrated to share data and provide a holistic ecosystem to serve the business needs. The New York City Center Information Technology department provides and supports a variety of IT infrastructure and applications, systems and tools to staff, performers, and constituents to enable City Center’s mission to be accomplished. This position supervises and reviews the work of the internal IT team, which currently consists of two other staff members focused on system and network administration, help desk, and business application management, and support, including reporting and analytics development. The IT team is responsible for supporting and enhancing the overall technology, network and infrastructure and the suite of business applications, including CRM (Tessitura), Venue Management software (Diese), and finance system (Financial Edge). The goal of the team is to enable a superior patron experience, maximize the performance and efficiency of user departments, optimize cost and maintain maximum availability, reliability and accuracy. The Director of IT also establishes and promotes project management best practices across IT and stakeholder groups—all while upholding City Center’s mission and our commitment to being an anti-racist organization.

Senior Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager

New York City Center (NYCC) is seeking a collaborative and skilled part-time Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Project Manager with experience in working closely with multiple cross-functional partners, and the demonstrated ability to leverage change management to drive process efficiencies. Engineer

The Engineer is responsible for daily maintenance of the New York City Center building in partnership with the Chief Engineer and Facilities Department. The Engineer will perform the repair and maintenance of all building systems. The Engineer is expected to assist all employees, tenants, and visitors of City Center while upholding the mission of the organization and our commitment to anti-racism.
