The Bronx Museum is hiring a full-time Security Officer who is responsible for safeguarding staff, the visiting public, artworks on site, and its facility. This front-line individual is a key member of our team, providing a first impression to community members, the public, and stakeholders. Shifts may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as assigned.
The Director of Facilities is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment, the physical plant, environmental services, as well as discreet capital projects for a 35,000 sq. ft. facility with exhibition galleries, flexible program spaces, and administrative and storage spaces, and adjoining lots.
The Development Manager manages the Membership Program and is in charge of The Bronx Museum’s donor database to ensure excellent data integrity while supporting the overall fundraising, communications and donor cultivation efforts. This position will also perform key duties for the Development office including, but not limited to, writing gift acknowledgements, conducting donor research and tracking, reporting on metrics, and supporting special events, including annual fundraising and cultivation events, the Travel Program, and membership solicitation and renewals.
The part-time People and Culture Manager will lead and direct the functions of the People and Culture (Human Resources or HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits and leave, nurturing talent within an inclusive environment, communicating openly and frequently, and enforcing company policies and practices in a union work culture. This part-time, 28 hours/4 day a week position offers a health benefits package.

The Special Assistant to the Executive Director provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and other senior staff, and serves as the primarily liaison to the Board of Trustees.
The Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations of The Bronx Museum of the Arts.
Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Institutional Giving Manager will be
responsible for researching funding opportunities and writing strategic and compelling letters of intent (LOIs), grant proposals, interim and final reports, and collateral materials for
government, foundations and corporations. This position will also help create project budgets working with the Development team and Finance staff, manage the foundation, corporate, and government pipeline by tracking application and reporting deadlines, maintain donor credit language, and assist in the cultivation and stewardship of institutional donors. Minimum salary: $60,000
Reporting to the Senior Curator, the Registrar & Exhibitions Manager will provide logistical and administrative support to ensure the Curatorial Department of the Bronx Museum achieves its mission.
The position supports the planning and production of exhibitions (onsite and traveling) and curatorial-related programs; manages a Permanent Collection of over 2,000 contemporary artworks in all media, focused on works by artists of African, Asian and Latin American ancestry reflecting the borough's dynamic communities, and works by artists for whom the Bronx has been critical to their artistic practice and development; expands and deepens Museum holdings through research, documentation, and acquisitions as directed by the Senior Curator; assists the production of exhibition catalogues and other Curatorial publications; and interfaces with a broad and interested public, including a range of artists, researchers, students, community members, colleagues, and funders.
