The Event Partnerships Manager (EPM) oversees existing and potential short-term business relationships and contracts that support the mission and financial goals of the organization. This position supports the management of fundraising and ticketed events as required. The EPM actively cultivates clients and identifies opportunities for programmatic rental and/or partnership events, commercial film and photo shoots, festivals, conferences and all manners of short-term earned income activity which maximize revenue, attract new audiences and/or advance our values including DEIA goals.
The ideal candidate understands activation to be central to effective asset management and preservation.
The Museum’s rentals program raises revenue by renting Museum spaces for corporate parties, award ceremonies, galas, weddings, and film and photo shoots. The department also oversees a select number of reduced-rate rentals for community partners and nonprofit groups, including government agencies, local schools, and community organizations.
The Events and Rentals Assistant supports the team by managing administrative tasks for the rentals program, fielding initial inquiries, maintaining accurate financial tracking, building relationships with external event industry contacts, and overseeing event production of community events and graduations.
The Public Theater is seeking a Manager, Special Events who will report to the Director, Special Events and be an integral member of the Special Events Department which can execute over 100 events a year. This position will project manage the successful execution of many cultivation events, fundraising events, and Opening Nights at the Public Theater, including during Shakespeare in the Park and the downtown season. This position requires an individual who is highly detail-oriented, can work on multiple projects at once, and works well in a fast-paced office.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Partnerships and Conferences, the Manager of Private Events and Tours is responsible for all aspects of managing the private event and tour business at Wave Hill. Each year, Wave Hill schedules approximately 25-30 private catered events held after public hours, and approximately 50 private tours per year.
Working as part of Wave Hill’s Philanthropy and Donor Engagement team, the Coordinator assists and helps implement a range of stewardship and fundraising initiatives and events in support of Wave Hill’s philanthropy goals.
