About This Role
The Youth Programs Coordinator will support the Youth Programs Manager in all aspects of the Children’s Garden (age 4-10) & Junior Naturalist (age 10-13) programs throughout the spring & summer. This includes general day-to-day oversight of programs, instructors, and children, plus garden care. Programs take place in the Children’s Garden and World Farm, which include 35+ raised beds, and some in-ground planting areas.

This part-time position is currently for one year-round shift: Saturdays from midnight to 8am. In addition, there are many coverage shifts available. The Part-Time (PT) Attendant Guard reports to the Facilities Supervisor and under supervision does the following work:
Attends, guards, and patrols the botanical garden and perimeter, Light cleaning and labor duties, assists in moving chairs and tables during special events, works with Community Service and other volunteers, meets, greets and provides basic wayfinding and related information to the visiting public, including groups.

The Benefits Administrator provides excellent customer service, streamlines existing programs, and creates accurate reporting tools for the HR department. This position reports to the Director of HR Operations.
SHCC seeks applicants for the position of Safety & Security Associate in the Security Department. Reporting to the Security & Safety Manager, the primary responsibility will be to lead the security program and the team in keeping SHCC safe and accessible for staff, constituents, tenants and visitors. The Safety & Security Associate will ensure that all daily security operations run smoothly and effectively. In addition to staff supervision, the Safety & Security Associate also carries out patrol and other security duties. This position is Part Time for 32 hours per week and will require weekend work.
